Back the Blue | Lawton, Oklahoma Photographer

My husband is going on his 11th year as a law enforcement officer.
We are raising 4 children, ages 12 | 8 | 6 | and almost 2.
2 boys. 2 girls.
They love their daddy, and honestly aside from our oldest, they don’t really grasp the danger his job puts him in, what it really means for them, all of us, our family. Their innocent little selves, don’t need that stress and worry either. It hasn’t really worried me crazy all these years we have been together because I have faith in my husband and trust that he will always do the right and necessary thing.
But the turn so many of our citizens are taking against him and his brothers & sisters, just makes me so sad, and the worry is definitely setting in at a higher tune. You just never know, when, where, who, why? When you go to work each day, you wake up get dressed, normal clothes, pants, shirt, shoes, grab your keys and go!
My husband adds a bullet proof vest underneath his shirt. A duty belt with a gun, tasor, and baton, around his waist over his pants. Think about that. Every. Single. Day. 4-6 days a week. almost 11 yrs. That’s crazy. Our soldiers suit up for battle when they are shipped off to war. Our LEOs are suited up for battle every single day here on our homeland. They are not battling against others, they are battling to save their selves, to make it home to his wife and 4 children.

So I would like to take a step in helping to HUMANIZE THE BADGE. I am offering FREE mini sessions to uniformed LEOS in our SWOK community. Any officers from any dept. are welcome! These sessions will take place in August and September 2016. Please help spread this word. Thank YOU!
